We are jumping for joy to announce that Lola Fayemi has signed a deal with The Unbound Press to publish her first book, Sovereignty: Live Your Truth Not Your Conditioning.
Lola is a first generation Brit of Nigerian heritage and has been a Leadership Coach for 15 years. She wanted to write a book that helps people to own their power and live their most authentic life by sharing her story, her experiences of helping others to do the same and the process that she uses personally and with clients to support this transformative process.
Sovereignty: Live Your Truth Not Your Conditioning is about walking the ongoing path to sovereignty; living a life that is true to who you really are based on Lola’s life and experiences. It's about living your truth with full acknowledgement of what gets in the way - our conditioning - and it provides some structure on how to navigate the process. This is a book for women who feel they are not living their life on their terms and want to, but find it hard. It’s a book for women who want to break generational cycles of dysfunction in their families and are looking for support with their inner work.
Of the inspiration behind the book, Lola says:
“The bigger picture is that I wanted to write this book to name some of the invisible forces creating all the problems that live in us as well as out there. The idea is to raise awareness, which is the beginning of change, and then provide support for the personal work that contributes to the collective.”
