Melanie O’Halloran-Gomes – White Feathers Woman signs publishing deal with The Unbound Press

The Unbound Press is thrilled to announce that Melanie O’Halloran-Gomes – White Feathers Woman has signed with us to publish her forthcoming book, The Water Rose: A Gift from the Sea.

About The Water Rose: A Gift from the Sea, Melanie shares:

‘The book is about the Water Rose, the deep process of birthing it and the years of preparation that I sometimes wondered “was there another plan?” as I seemed to drift along finding exactly where I was meant to be at the right time without having planned it. Water is a Master of Flow, it will flow you even when you resist it. There are things you can do to help this flow and to help your connection with the water and the Highest Ascended Ones of the Water – the Mer People. 

One of the reasons for writing this book is to speak for the Mer People themselves, their beautiful-hearted nature, their ability to connect through unity consciousness and how they have been misrepresented, a bit like Mary Magdalene. 

The book will include exercises as to how people can connect with water and open their hearts to the elementals of the water and the Highest Ascended Mer People. They are wanting us to connect with them and we have much to learn from them.

Of Melanie’s journey so far, she shares:

‘For around 20 years I worked as a marine conservation ecologist in different fields (governmental, charity, scientific, and out-in-the-field practical jobs) and in this time I had three experiences in the sea: one snorkelling, one diving and one sailing, where I could have had a disaster but instead had an immense feeling of the deepest peace and presence that helped me to overcome them. 

I then went through a spiritual wake up that turned me to alternative therapies, which I have worked in for over 20 years – at the start, overlapping with the marine work. Shamanism changed my life, as did Rahanni Celestial Healing and Kambo and if it wasn’t for those I could not have “gotten out of the way” enough to really allow myself to receive the Water Rose from the Mer People (Ascended Spirits of the Sea) and the feminine Christ Consciousness that comes through the water as the Magdalene Current. This also helped me to understand why those three “initiations”, if you like, happened in the water in the first place. 

This was combined with experiences that were deeply awakening to do with cosmic love that I felt from another soul. This union was a spiritual union and was simply to birth the Water Rose, although at the time I could not understand it. I wish to write the book to raise awareness of our connection to the sea and the water beings and how they can help us if we would only listen. 

The sea and its beings can help us to heal and to understand the different forms of love in terms of relationships and how to heal the triple spiral within us – Womb/Hara, Heart and Head to allow the balance of Highest Christ Consciousness through us once again as we remember. This is why I am writing the book.
