Elizabeth Cambanos signs publishing deal with The Unbound Press

We are delighted to announce that Elizabeth Cambanos has signed a deal with The Unbound Press to publish her first book, The Cyclical Journal: A journal for cyclical living - connecting with your feminine energy to achieve your goals.

On The Cyclical Journal, Elizabeth says:

‘This book is an interactive self-help book designed to connect with your cycle, in real time, to come back to your feminine way of operating and manifesting your goals and desires. This book is for those who want to connect with the cyclical rhythm of their menstrual cycle or the moon cycle. It’s great for young teenagers who are wanting to learn about their cycle, for those TTC (trying to conceive) and for busy mums, like me, who are time poor and find the magic of organising their energy with the monthly cycle.’

Of her journey so far, Elizabeth shares:

‘I am a mother of two young boys and a Yoga Teacher, Entrepreneur and Author living in Kefalonia, Greece (originally from London). I am passionate about exploring and sharing ways to reconnect with nature for our own health and well-being and also the health of the beautiful planet that we live on.

In my twenties my period stopped. I didn't have a period for 5 years. It was only after the first year of an absent period that I decided to start trying to get my menstrual cycle back on track. I hadn't realised that it had been so long since it had stopped - I considered my period an 'inconvenience'! It was always irregular and I was told that this is normal.

Long story short, I was told by a doctor that I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I would need to go on the Pill to regulate my hormones and if I wanted children, then I would need medication and to expect a long and difficult fertility journey. Luckily I was 23 years old at the time and did not accept what the doctors told me. So the journey to get my period back, which was initially for my own hormonal health and as I hoped to have children one day, led me to reconnect with Mother Nature in many ways. I found myself sharing all that I had learnt with friends and family about cycle and fertility related issues and now I am excited to share with you and empower you to connect with your cyclical nature.’

The Unbound Press can’t wait for Elizabeth’s potent book to be birthed into the world and we know its readers will benefit from its guidance to go deeper with their own inner cycles, bringing about magic and transformation in their lives.
