Carrie Myers is a mom, yoga instructor, program developer and author. Through her healing journey, she awoke to all the ways humans are socialised to be in this world. Recognising that each of us has gifts to offer, but many have blocks in excavating those gifts, she decided to start not only digging herself out of the darkness, but also pulling up anyone else who wants to come along. Her first book with The Unbound Press, Soul Shine: Excavate Your Light and Claim Your Soul's Purpose, was born from the desire to expose the light within us all.
Of the inspiration and purpose behind the forthcoming Sensual Soul Shine, Carrie says:
‘Sensual Soul Shine is about digging deeper into our feminine power and gifting the world with the balance that our sensuality was created to bring. By excavating the layers, and lifting each other, we will claim our full shine and light the way to true self-love and a balanced, gentle but strong way of being in our world.
Sensual Soul Shine is born from the desire to bring the more feminine and sensual side of humanity back into balance. Women are built to be sensual, curvy, soft, strong and nurturing. We are meant to balance the linear, sturdy, goal-oriented masculine side of nature. Even though every human carries both within them, the feminine has been squeezed out for far too long and the world has lost its balance. By excavating the light of sensuality, we will ease the harsh lines of the linear world. As women, we will regain the control and power that has also been within us, within our sensuality.
Even though sexuality is a huge part of living sensually, your story may have nothing to do with sex. But if it is about sex, we need these powerful stories too!
