Angie Northwood lives and works in beautiful west Wales with her husband Rob and two adult children, Jake and Molly. Together they've created Spirals of Wellbeing, a place of peace, creativity and healing.
Not liking labels, Angie describes her work as a ‘basket of womb and soul wisdoms’, from which she offers women pathways to awakening and healing using Soul Facilitation, Soul Re-alignment readings, Moon Mother Blessings and Healing and Holistic Intuitive Massage.
In Take Off Your Armour and Have a Cup of Tea, Angie shares her experiences of being a mother of a child who shows up differently in the world.
From her daughters’ diagnosis at age one year, Angie describes her battles and her celebrations within a world that has both excluded, marginalised and discriminated against her child; as well as welcomed, loved and included her child. She quickly learnt to go into battle as an Inclusion Warrior to fight for the rights of her own child and of other parents’ children during her years working within the Inclusion Movement.
Woven into this story is her awakening to her mother wounds, her transition into the menopause years and becoming a Womb Wise woman after being diagnosed with a Uterine Fibroid.
At the core of Angie's writing is the deep love and knowing that her daughter brings into the world gifts of infinite beauty and how when we open ourselves to thinking outside the box and consciously creating inclusive community, all our lives are enriched.
The Unbound Press are honoured to be working with Angie who has been a member of the Unbound Writing Mastermind. Take Off Your Armour is a truly magical book and we can't wait to release it into the world later this year.
